Snorkel Tube

A snorkel tube, commonly referred to as a snorkel, is an essential piece of snorkeling equipment. The snorkeler can breathe while maintaining their face in the water thanks to this device. In order to breathe continuously without having to elevate the head, the snorkel tube extends above the water’s surface.

Type of Snorkeling Tube:

Classic Snorkel:

This kind of snorkel is just a tube with a mouthpiece that allows the user to breathe underwater while keeping their face submerged. It may lack sophisticated components like splash guards or valves.

Dry Snorkel:

When submerged, a mechanism in a dry snorkel shuts the tube, keeping water from entering. This makes breathing easier and reduces the need to clean the snorkel.

Semi-Dry Snorkel:

To prevent water from entering during surface waves, semi-dry snorkels contain a splash guard or deflector at the top. These characteristics assist to some extent keep water out even though they do not completely seal the snorkel.
